Care & Maintenance
  • Machine wash cold (max 30°C / 90°F), gentle cycle
  • Use mild detergent
  • Non-chlorine bleach only when needed
  • Tumble dry low heat
  • Do not iron directly on the design

Tip: For best longevity, wash with similar colors and avoid high heat.

Your design is created from the photos you provide—please upload images that reflect the pose, angle, and expression you’d like illustrated. Multiple photos are welcome.

For best results:

  • Front-facing, eye-level photos
  • Clear, natural lighting
  • Pet fully visible and unobstructed

Multiple pets?

  • Individual or group photos are both great
  • Try to use similar angles for consistency
  • Please note or label which pet is which

Note: Collars, leashes, and other accessories will be removed unless otherwise requested.
How It Works
  1. Select your customization options and upload your pet photo(s).
  2. Place your order and we'll create your custom artwork.
  3. If you selected Proof, we'll email your artwork proof to the email address used at checkout within 2–10 business days. You can request unlimited revisions before approving your artwork for production.
  4. If you selected No Proof, your artwork will move directly to production once it's complete.
  5. Once production is complete, your order will ship and you'll receive tracking information by email.
Production & Shipping

Artwork: 2–10 business days

Production: 2–7 business days

  • Orders with Proof begin production after artwork approval.
  • Orders with No Proof move directly to production once the artwork is complete.

Estimated shipping times:

  • Continental U.S.: 2–5 business days
  • Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & U.S. Territories: 7–12 business days

Shipping estimates begin once your order has shipped. Tracking information will be emailed as soon as your order is on its way.
Returns & Policies

Because every item is custom made to order, personalized products are considered final sale. This does not apply to items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Cancellations: You may request to cancel your order for a full refund within 48 hours of placing your order by contacting us at hello@thecatlab.co.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders: If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include clear photos of the item and packaging so we can review the issue. Once confirmed, we'll provide a replacement or a full refund, depending on your preference.
