Want to preview your design first? Add the Proof option before checkout to receive a digital proof via email (sent to the email associated with your order) for approval before production. Includes unlimited revisions. Proofs are typically delivered within 2–10 business days.
Photo Guide
Your design is created from the photos you provide—please upload images that reflect the pose, angle, and expression you’d like illustrated. Multiple photos are welcome.
For best results:
- Front-facing, eye-level photos
- Clear, natural lighting
- Pet fully visible and unobstructed
Multiple pets?
- Individual or group photos are both great
- Try to use similar angles for consistency
- Please note or label which pet is which
Note: Collars, leashes, and other accessories will be removed unless otherwise requested.
Production & Shipping
Artists at TheCatLab create a custom, hand-drawn design for every order. All items are made to order, and production typically takes 2–3 weeks from the date of purchase.
Orders that include a proof will not begin production until the proof is approved.
Estimated shipping times:
- U.S. (continental): 2–5 business days
- International: 10–30 business days
- Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories: please allow 7–12 business days
Once shipped, tracking information will be sent via email.
Need your order by a specific date? Add the Expedited Design option to move your order to the front of the queue, and include your requested delivery date in the order notes
Returns & Policies
Since each item is custom and made specifically for you, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
Cancellations & Refunds:
You can request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase by emailing the.cat.lab.etsy@gmail.com
After 24 hours: If artwork has not been started → full refund. If artwork has been completed → refund minus a $20 artwork fee.
Once an order enters production, no changes can be made (including design details or shipping address).
If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, a full refund or replacement will be provided.
